Choosing a pipette

Micropipetting for DNA and enzyme work: the Research Pipettors are single-channel air-displacement micropipettes with in-lab recalibration and a UV-resistant build; the Digital Micropipets, Yellow Tip are continuously adjustable with a digital display and a recessed volume wheel. Tips come in 1 to 200 microlitres (yellow, bag of 100) and 100 to 1,000 microlitres (blue, rack of 96).

Serological and graduated pipettes: the Pipette Controller accepts 1 to 100 mL pipettes, is motorised and rechargeable, and runs up to 8 hours or 2,500 uses per charge. The Pipet Pump is a manual thumbwheel pump for pipettes up to 10 mL, with drop-by-drop control and a fast-release trigger.
