Crocodile Leads, 432mm Full Length, 360mm Cable, 5 Colours, 2 x Each Colour
Product Code : SCL-SLE-11407
Last updated: 6 October 2026
Quick answer: A set of crocodile-clip test leads, 432 mm overall with 360 mm of insulated cable, in five colours with two leads of each colour, listed for circuit work in school and college physics laboratories. No electrical rating is published on this listing.
Colour coding is the point of a lead set. With two leads in each of five colours a class can keep a circuit readable, using one colour per rail or per branch, which makes faults far easier to trace than a bench of identical leads. This set is listed at 432 mm full length over 360 mm of insulated cable, with metal crocodile clips at each end.
The listing covers the lengths, the number of colours and the quantity of each, and describes the set as suitable for connecting batteries, meters and experimental apparatus and for low-voltage electrical components. It does not publish an electrical rating.
Until the voltage and current rating and the conductor cross-section have been confirmed in writing, treat these as low-voltage classroom apparatus only. They should not be used on mains or on any supply where the rating is what keeps the user safe. Request the rating, the conductor cross-sectional area and the insulation material before ordering.
Meters and electrical apparatus to use them with are listed under Meters and Electrical in the Physics Lab Equipment range.
